We have had snow, albeit not much, in the past. This year, none. On Christmas Eve it was +14C, which is unseasonably warm. Yesterday, +11.

I have a theory that everyone wants a white Christmas, but once Christmas goes, the snow can go to. We have snow n the alps, where snow belongs. Here we have green fields in the rolling hills.

I did enjoy it! When the snow fell it was the big fluffy flakes I like the best.

In SoCal we are use to getting a few jokes about surfing Santa in board shorts. While it is ususally warm at Chirstmas we hit a record 80 degrees on Chirstmas day in San Clemente. For those that enjoy watching the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl, be aware that the forcast is for 80 degrees on New Years Day....advantage Sanford.

No snow left from the cold late November weather, but I can see snow on the ski slopes from my house.

They have been making snow at night for a month now at Massanutten and have their big 3 slopes covered.

Nah, it was in the low 30s here. Centigrade, that is.

Our ski slopes are crying for snow. Lack of snow is really impacting local business. All we can do is enjoy the sun.

No snow, but not to worry - it'll be here in full-force come late March.

My friend, here in Bahia we are close to 40º RIGHT NOW (8:00 PM) Our luck is that there are no mosquitos. A little bit of snow, just for a change, would be good, but just for a couple of days.

It finally stopped snowing here. A bit of a thaw for today and tomorrow, then next week we get the ever popular sub zero temperatures. I can hardly wait.

I was thinking of you when I created this thread. That is hot! We have another snow storm coming tomorrow, not a big one, only 20 cm.
