Default Martin XC1T 10yrs old need info

There's one forsale but it doen't have a lable inside. Fella says it's 10 yrs old. Doesn't come with case. Anyone know where this would have been built, I play C&W flatpickin', is this guitar right for me? I ask because it's a long way from my home to where the guitar is located. Any guesses on how much I should pay for one? Thanks

Its a spruce top with HPL back and sides. 10 years is possible, they dropped them 2-3 years ago. Wouldn't think of it as much of a flatpick guitar, its main attraction was the Fishman Blend pickup. They sold for about $650-$700 new so a mint used one might go around $350.

Thanks HHP, I kinda thought without a pick guard it might not be for me I'm a dreadnaught kinda guy. He's asking $495.00 up here in Canada, he's seems like he'll drop his price but even at $300.00 it's no good if I don't play it.

Thanks Brian A. Took a look at those, kinda helpful but didn't exactly answer my questions. I'm kinda looking for a hands on opinion, someone on here that plays some Merle and Johnny that wouldn't part with theirs. Maybe that person doesn't exist.

Maybe one of the DX models would be better for you. There is always that difficulty comparing OM or 000 to the Dread sound and tonal range. From my experience with these two different model sizes, there is still the basic tonal differences between these shapes.
