Default DPC latency problem?

I'm trying to set up my Komplete Audio 6, but I think I'm running into some issues. In the KA6 control panel, I have the buffer settings set such that there are no USB I/O errors or buffer underruns, according to the diagnostics panel. However, I still get periodic clicks or drop outs every minute or so.

I downloaded LatencyMon, which shows that I'm indeed getting spikes in "interrupt to process latency." If I don't have the KA6 connected, the driver file with the highest execution is USBPORT.sys, which ranges from over 1ms to 5ms. With the KA6 connected, it's either the USBPORT.sys driver or the Wdf0100.sys (kernel mode driver framework runtime) that runs high.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
I'm on Windows 8, i3-3225 cpu, 8GB ram, 240GB SSD hard drive.
This also happens on my laptop, which is Windows 8, i5-2520m, 8GB ram, 160GB SSD hard drive.

Maybe someone here might have the same setup and same issues but your best bet is on another forum, for example these threads

I'd check to see if your drivers are compatible with Win 8.
