Default A rare, small body archtop instrument

John sent me this picture this morning. I'd totally forgotten about having held it. It's a D'Aquisto Mandolin, and there are probably less than a handful in existence.....and it seems it may be one of two......John did restoration on it prior to its being shown at the Guitar Heroes at The Met in 2011.

Nice! I love oval hole archtop mandolins; I have a 1924 Gibson A Jr.
