Try experimenting with the dynamics. Soften the treble arpeggios to highlight the bass or the other way around to add sparkle to the trebles. Bring out the melody more by subtracting volume from the supporting notes.

The recording comes through on my end with all the notes the same volume without expression/emphasis.

Thanks for sharing. Gets interesting at around 40 second mark. Recording wise try further out from the guitar for a more balanced sound.

That's a really nice composition. I agree with Barry that you should consider inserting more dynamics into it. For that song, I think adding variations in tempo and volume and adding some reverb in the recording chain would enhance the presentation. Congrats, look forward to hearing where you take it.
