Great choice Bob! I've been using one of those daily for almost 30 yrs.
The Tube Driver keeps on pushing, and many electroharmonix/digitech junk boxes just die and go away.
Enjoy the drive!!!

this is the one i have. it actually works well whether it is a 12ax7 or 12at7.

Looks like a real road warrior! I remember when those came out and remember wanting one. There was that funny rapid-fire period where the two Tube Works versions and the Ibanez and one other, all really versions of the same, came out within about a year.

for the longest time, i would bounce between the tube works and the original tech 21 sans amp. both were so good that i would leave both out and then i would just choose which one i wanted to use. now, i use a fulltone fulldrive 3 that has both a boost and an overdrive. it has a germanium transistor in a compressor circuit that really does the job.
