Default Anyone with an X20 in the Columbus, OH area?

i have an older Emerald X5 and a Rainsong WS1000N2. I'm interested in trying an X20 before dropping the $$$. I'd greatly appreciate the opportunity to try yours if you live in the area.

Thanks!

I'm a little too far away from you, I'm afraid, but I do love my X20. The only regret I have is that I didn't buy one with the "Barn-door" pickup and built-in tuner. Although that microphone pickup that's in it sure sounds great, I think it's a K&K Mini.

Just out of curiosity, what is missing with your X5 that you believe the X20 will provide, if you don't mind my asking?

I gave the older X5 Life. Tiny body so it doesn't sound like a full size guitar unless it's plugged in. At least it has a full scale neck.

I could be wrong, but I think the pickup may be an L.R. Baggs Lyric.

You could be right, I don't remember what Michael from MacNichol said was in it. I know it has a battery, and I don't believe the K&K has a battery, correct?

Sorry, I'm not really familiar with the K&K. Someone here will know though.

The K&K Pure Mini is passive, so no preamp/battery pack in the guitar. The Lyric is a microphone that attaches to the bridge also, and will have a sound hole switch for the preamp along with a battery pack.

It has to be a Baggs Lyric then, thanks for clarifying.
