Default Looking for a first nylon-string - Alhambra 1C?

Hey there folks,

Some time ago I tried a nylon string guitar I really liked, it was an Alhambra 1C as stated in the topic title. Now, I've been (seriously) playing steel-string for about 1.5 years now, also slowly starting to record stuff, and thought a nylon-string would be a nice addition. I have absolutely no knowledge about nylon-strung guitars and what I'm supposed to look for and what not. Probably not too different from a steel-string, but still, it's very different.
I only know the 1C has a solid cedar top and laminate mahogany back and sides.
Any other ideas?

Thanks,
CZ

Alhambra makes some wonderful guitars. Try Almansa and Raimundo too.

Buy the one that speaks to you most.

I have an Alhambra 5P, and I'm very pleased with the quality and the sound.

I also found a 4P, but the boomy bass scared me off. I ought to try some more though. I'm not really sure which brands are available though.
