Default 2012 Taylor 12 Fret Mahogany BTO GC

SOLD! AND A NEW FRIEND MADE. MANY THANKS!

A new build and unexpected vintage purchase compel me to sell this splendid all mahogany custom Taylor Grand Concert. The guitar was new earlier this year and it is flawless. It is a very easy player with a woody tone and considerable complexity for a relatively new guitar. Because it's a twelve fret, the guitar also has a very nice low end.

Here are the details:

2012 Taylor BTO 12 fret Grand Concert.
Short scale (24 7/8").
1 3/4" nut.
Mahogany back and sides.
Mahogany top.
All over edge burst.
Gloss top, back and sides.
Satin neck.
Ebony binding.
Ebony rosette.
Ebony bound sound hole.
Three piece back with ebony mini wedge.
Bound ebony fingerboard.
Slot head tuners.
Ebony head stock overlay.
Black/white/black purfling.
Blank fret board.
Bone nut and saddle.
Ivoroid strap button.
Original hardshell case.

Never gigged. Always played inside our smoke free house.

New retail for the guitar is approximately $4,200 with a street price of approximately $2,500. I will sell the guitar for $1,999.00 and ship anywhere in CONUS for $50.00. PayPal is fine but I would like to split the fees.

Please PM me.

PHOTOS DELETED TO REDUCE BAND WIDTH CONSUMPTION.

That is one of the most stunning guitars I have ever seen. Absolutely beautiful! These are the days I actually wish I had a bunch of money!

If only I had some $$$, you'd be in serious trouble! That's a gorgeous guitar! Wish I could add that to my arsenal!

Schooner - wow. And I know some of your history w/ mahogany guitars!

All I can say is -- I want to know about the upcoming build!!

Very nice GC here... exactly what I would order on that guitar. Someone is in for a treat!

Best of luck,

Phil

Thanks, Dennis. It doesn't so much growl as purr like a fat old house cat with a big motor.

You did a great service selling me that GS. It cemented me as a Taylor player and I still love it. Hope that all is well with you.

PM's answered. Thanks for the great response so far.

It's really killing me to let this go.
I had just committed to a new build when an excellent vintage ES 335 came my way and like many here I am being a little more careful with the size of the herd these days.

Thanks, Phil. It's killing me but I couldn't pass on the 335.
