Those are amazing. The other thread about the specs of your dream guitar made me realize that I didn't have a clue what I dream about. This. These sort of violin-inspired guitars are impeccable. When I have the money, this is what I'm going after.

That's good to hear. By the way, I may have worded my previous reply badly; just to be clear, I wasn't implying that you were "hyping" your flu!

Here's to a full and speedy recovery

It's better to laugh than to cry! I took it to mean you really care.

There is only one photo on the page below that resembles what I have:

JR, I am sure that I identified it as best as I could before you picked it up. I hope you are still pleased with it. Know that I would have nothing to gain and everything to lose by misinforming you or anyone.
Hi, Aaron! Welcome to the forum! Thank you for the info on the Partridge wood. I've updated the description of the guitar in this thread. I also thought it looked kind of mahogany-ish. (Thanks for pointing that out, Tim!) I was going by the info on the brochure when I wrote the original description. I'm very glad to own a guitar built from this unique wood. I wonder why we don't see more guitars built from Partridge wood?

JR
