You misread what I was saying I fear. I tried it with the DI. Then removed the DI and tried it with my Red-Eye. Then removed the Red-Eye and tried it directly in via a 1/4" cable. Same issue in all different setups.

Yeah that was suggested earlier and I replied that it made no difference. The LR Baggs guys have it now.

Just a quick update in case somebody comes across this in the archives. LR Baggs was super responsive and get the pick back to me and said it checked out fine. But unfortunately, it still does the exact same thing. Every combination of guitar, preamp, amplifier, cables, I can try and the exact same thing. I may try to send it back to them again because I really have trouble this is how the pickup is "supposed" to be... very disappointing.
