1951 Gibson ES-125 : SOLD!
Here's a terrific vintage Gibson at a great price!
This a full-depth hollow body archtop guitar, not the later thinline that you usually see. It sounds great unplugged and acoustic, and really shines when you put it though an amp because of the hot P-90 pickup. Perfect for Jazz, Blues, Rockabilly, or Hank Williams style Country, this instrument is a lot of fun to play. With the exception of the bridge and the finish (and maybe the pickguard) this is all original and in very good playing condition, with low, easy action and plenty of room for adjustment. This was probably a sunburst when it came out of Kalamazoo. It appears that someone lightly sanded off the darker color and refinished it at some point it. Now it's a lovely dark amber color. There are a couple of dings in the binding, neither visible when you're playing it. Other than that it's quite clean. These are going for a couple of grand in excellent condition. Given the refinish, you can own this versatile and interesting guitar for just $950, paypal'd, shipped, & insured in the lower 48. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks for looking!

How is the neck? It's a Fifties Gibson. The neck is great -- not too chunky, not too thin. It's just right!
