Really A nice tone. This guitar is not for you if you like the "Old" Taylor sound. There is a marked improvement in the warmth, openness and the mid-range from the typical Taylor tone.

If you like "quacky" pickups don't get this guitar. Root for the Oregon Ducks instead.

Here is an answer to a recent PM question about the flaws: When you closely inspect the guitar you will find 5 marks. The two photographed are from very close range with my iPhone. They are the worst by far. The other three are lines on the side of the guitar at the waist. I'm am guessing the previous owner might have worn a belt buckle. On the back of the headstock in one of the photos there is a check visible. I didn't notice it until after I posted the photos on this forum.
