Default ~ SOLD ~GORGEOUS & RARE 2012 COLLINGS "CJ MH" ALL MAHOGANY Guitar

~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~

Stunning ALL MAHOGANY COLLINGS CJ Guitar from 2012

I ordered this new in 2012. The condition is an easy 9 out of 10 save for a few minor surface marks which I wasn't able to photograph,
the guitar is Very Clean and has only been played sparingly at home.
There is NO fret wear.

I previously installed a pickup and then later removed it, so the end pin has an Ebony Plug that I had made to fill the larger hole.
I didn’t glue it in as I don't play with a strap, but it can be glued in for security.
I did NOT install a neck strap button.

The guitar is set up and plays VERY nicely with a New set of D’addario EJ19 Phosphor Bronze Strings, gauged 12-56.

The Factory Specs and Upgrades are:
Model: “CJ MH” with:
Mahogany Top
Rich Walnut Stain / Gloss
1 3/4” Nut width
Short Scale (24 7/8)
Abalone Rosette
3 Style Backstrip
Cut-through saddle
Matching Tortoise Shell Body, Neck and Peghead Bindings
Waverly Vintage Ivoroid Tuners
Collings Hard Shell Case Included

This was $5500.00 new.

If it helps anyone, I would consider a Deposit and Lay-Away, Terms to be discussed.

I have FAR to many instruments and this guitar is simply not getting used and someone should get to enjoy it.

$3900.00 with FREE Continental U.S. SHIPPING via Fed-EX Ground
AK and HI are more so please inquire.

Are you able to provide more detail in relation to this? Are the surface marks dings, scratches, bumps, or something else? How many is a few?

The guitar was played at home, but always carefully. There are 3 or 4 small marks on the guitar that i couldn't get to photograph. My 9 rating is "conservative".
I wanted to illustrate that the guitar is Very Clean but NOT brand new. The marks i can see appear to be very small impressions, i don't know what caused them.
I have a lot of guitars and none of them get very much use as i like to rotate them and try to play them all at different times.
Hope this helps.

Default I need more money!

The guitar buying world is obviously gone wacky. I mean, how can a guitar of this caliber still be for sale? I can only say...I need more money!

Thanks - i think it's fabulous too and priced fairly. I am in no hurry to sell it, just thought i'd offer it as its really just sitting in the case anyway.

I am fine with lay-away terms if anyone might like this beautiful Chocolate Collings.
