Default finish chip

So my roommates came back after the bar one night a couple weeks ago and one of them, being a little too drunk, ended up knocking over a chair and hitting my tele which was out next to my amp (luckily it was my electric not my acoustic).

I'm not all too sure what to do about it but since there are so many knowledgeable people on here I thought I would save some time and see what you guys have to say about it.

So here is a picture with what I'm working with.

What should I do?

Use it as a reminder of why to keep your guitar in its case when it is not being played. Seriously.

Well, you picked a nice easy colour to work on!

You can paint over the chip with black nail varnish as a first fix. No repairman will complain about having to undo that "amateur repair", and it will prevent further flaking off of paint from the chip.

Depends how good you are at "touching in" if you should go further.
