The rosette or the sound-port?
The rosette is made out of cocobolo and then bordered by a thin layer of Paua Abalone,

My friend Coke Zero,
when there is a will there is a way.... ever heard of Credit cards? Its a way of life here in the USA. Of course there are always pre-paid plans, and layaway programs, and so on.

If you really are hurting for that guitar I'm sure we could come up with a solution so that someone gets to play this guitar....

PS>I appreciated all your nice posts on my guitars. thats great. Thanks

I really hope one day I can get one for myself, but alas, saving for a deposit on a home comes first, a home with a humidified room of course .

I really like your design work on the Zion, modern and fresh looking but not over-done. The grand concert is also great, but I think the Zion is your "show piece."

Hmm I wonder how much customs fees would be to the UK... off to do some research .

.Hi Peter,
I really like your small concert prototype; beautiful; nicely proportioned. I'll be interested to hear how it sounds compared to what your goal was with it.

Of course I never commented on the other rosette 'cause you already know what I think of that one, but here are my comments anyway - beautiful, elegant and pure class.

Unfortunately I can't come over to look but you could always build something and send it over for me to look at!.mmm.... How about something with beautiful Moonscape Sapele and Sinker Redwood ....
