Hey, everyone- there's a nice article featuring our own Tony Vines in the current Guitar Connoisseur Magazine. Read it HERE online, and you'll see what a treasure we have in Tony, right here on the AGF. Truly, one of the greats in American Lutherie! And I'm proud to call him a friend.
Oh! Just noticed this link has already been posted! Read and enjoy!

Just a quick note to give kudos for this wonderful guitar! As I noted in my thread about my visit to the SBAIC, there were many superb instruments there, but this guitar was my favorite of the show. Beautiful craftsmanship, wonderful tone, and fabulous playability...
Great work, Tony!

Well, I finally returned from the SBAIC show. I drove my motor home from East Tennessee to Santa Barbara....a long beautiful trip! I really needed the "vacation" too. It was great to see many of my clients, friends and fellow luthiers. I wish I could have spent more time with each of them. The show was a great experience and I look forward to the next one.
I took my time coming back to east TN and discovered some really nice RV parks along the way. Most notably an RV park in Barstow, CA...right in the middle of the Mojave desert! I love the desert...cactus,sand, a warm evening breeze and a good book, it just doesn't get any better. I appreciate all the comments here on the forum about my guitars and the show. I also wanted to briefly share my experience and explain my greatly delayed response! To my fellow luthiers- I really enjoyed connecting with all of you. I also wanted to say that I missed seeing David Berkowitz... See you on my next build thread. |

Here's a sound clip of this guitar...I really love how this guitar sounds and she plays so easily. I may have to build one of these for myself, we will see. This clip can also be heard on my website. Enjoy!
