Wow, wish I could be there. That sloped SD-12 is a real stunner, John!

Well we are coming down to the wire, and there is still a lot to do.

I still have to finish (or possibly make a new) bridge for the A16, still got to cut the nut and finish up the tailpiece but I am thinking that I should have it strung up later today. I hope to get a few more photos too. There won't be much play time on any of these guitars so hopefully they will get broken in at the show.

Here are a couple shots of the Euro Spruce/Euro Maple A16. I just got strings on it last night. Less than 24 hours before I hit the road and I still have to pack. Lots more setup to do on this one, but I do intend to bring it along if all goes well the rest of this afternoon and evening. It has been a fun one.

It was great meeting John at the show, his guitars were very very nice. Being naive to John's work, never having played one I mean, I was blown away with the sound and feel of the wild Coco OM/ Italian Spruce. John did not get to bring that one home. I have written more in the woodstock thread if interested, but John and his wife are very wonderful people and it was a pleasure to meet and talk with them. I don't want to say his guitars surprised me because I did not know what to expect, I just did not expect them to be this good if that makes sense. If anyone gets a chance to play an Osthoff, you will know what I mean.

Congrats, Tom. John's guitars are always a highlight of the show. These were five totally different guitars, each one better than the next. Enjoy it!

Thank you! With that list of guitars you have there, I think your opinion in this matter should be seen with a high degree of expertise!!!! Fantastic!

As I carried one of John's beautiful maple guitars into the practice room (otherwise known as the alcove in front of the bathroom), I thought to myself, "If I ding this, I'll probably have to buy it... Hmmmm... "

But I was a good boy (and husband). (But honey, John knocked off $1000 for the show price!"
