BTW commando I forgot to tell you I visited Mike's shop while I was in Montreal and was very impressed. Probably the most thoughtfully planned out working space I've ever seen. Like the samurai say "from one thing know ten thousand things" Mike's attention to detail runs through everything he does. Did you know he's also a world class chef? (like good, like michelin star good!) I have no doubts you will love your guitar when it gets to you.

I was listening to this clip again of a G2 Adi/Braz and can't stop playing it. The player has nice touch and taste, perhaps one of the most important qualities of a player pleasing to the ears. The G2 is so complex and open sounding.
http://www.12fret.com/new/SoundFiles...el_G2_Jun9.mp3 So much for the myth that Adi and a larger guitar can't be used for fingerstyle eh? Greenfields are so cool that they are so nice to fingerstyle and can go on turbo mode with nice strong pick attack. Best of both worlds. |

It's all down to the builder.
Mike knows what he's doing and his instruments respond beautifully to any attack. I love the way you can get so much power from tapping techniques too, they just ring out and hammer-ons are almost as loud as a struck note. All good clean fun.
