I'll have to check with the guys at the Magazine about those outtakes. Hmm...

he Amulet M really sounds quite wonderful in that video. There must be some mic bleed going on though? You can hear Doug acoustically when the volume is all the way off and then when he turns up the pickup, it sounds like the unplugged tone is still present. I could be wrong, there might have been a switch when editing but that bleed does make it sound a bit more natural.

Doug, one thing I really appreciated was the fact that you aggressively strummed a bit and mentioned how the Amulet handled that type of playing. It definitely showcased that this pickup is capable of almost any style.

Doug's reviews and opinions on amplification are extremely valuable. Great job as usual.

Replace D-35 with OM-28V and I was gonna type the same exact thing. My gigs are SO enjoyable with this pickup.

I'll add that I'm looking forward to a new Trance Amulet M-VT "plus" system that should arrive early next week.

In the future, I would strongly consider a Phantom system to use with a mixer. I like the idea of removing the battery and one extra concern. Although, it's less of an issue on factory systems with a battery access door.

Moreover, Gary and Lauren are a pleasure to work with, and their dedication to making these outstanding electronics in commendable.

I'm also grateful to Doug Young for sharing his vast acoustic amplification experience with the world.

Thanks Doug! A nice video that showcases why several top names in music use the Trance Amulet systems.

There were outtakes in the video that I think they needed to edited out. Presumably, they will repost when the post production is complete. They were kind of amusing. Doug is a good sport.
