I have very limited experience but I spent an hour or so with a couple once. They included (I think) a spruce or cedar / ovangkol and a cedar / mahogany. They were both great guitars to pay. A quirky design for sure but really lively with excellent tone and sustain.

Quite nice guitars, quirky design aesthetic as Pete mentioned. I've seen about a dozen over the last few years. I still see them occasionally around Boise, used. TJ had the misfortune of leaving Taylor to start his own guitar business just as the economy tanked in 2007.

What's the price you're looking at? 700, 900? The A styles are fine guitars, the D no slouch. I think that they'd fit anywhere within the Breedlove/Taylor and similar soundsphere.
