Default I Can't Get To You From Here

In the wake of Michael Johnson's death I've been learning a lot of the songs he played and this is one of them. "I Can't Get To You From Here" was recorded by Don Williams and others but my rendition is based on that of Michael Johnson. Johnson added some frills I'm not (yet) capable of but I think I have the gist of his arrangement.

I'm trying to decide how to record my videos and this one is a WYSIWYG job ("What You See Is What You Get" for you younger folks), meaning there is no amplification of voice or instrument. The downside of this is that I can't balance the volume between instrument and vocal and in this case, the vocal suffered a bit. I'll have to try a softer hand on the guitar.

Thanks, Glenn. Michael died on July 26th and there was a big outpouring of sympathy and on his website. I was lucky enough to see him in concert three times, all in small venues. He was a marvelous guitarist and entertainer and a pretty nice guy to boot.
