Congrats! I've owned a few Yairi's...and I really miss a couple of them. Yours looks FANTASTIC with that tight grained spruce and straight rosewood. I love the bridge and the long saddle. I'd have been sorely tempted had I seen that one...marvelous.

Once again thanks for the compliments. A friend, who's a professional guitarist dropped by and was really impressed. He owns a Martin D18 etc and said that the Yairi has a sound all of its own and a very good one too. He also gave me a set of titanium bridgepins which I put in to replace the plastic ones. Can't tell a difference in sound but they really look the part matching the clean design. And, the fact that the bridgepins were plastic was literally the only thing that I thought was a bit cheap on this beauty. So, a happy happenstance
