Always carry my Blue Chips in one of those pouches, on my key chain. Never lose one or not know where they are at all times.

My J-45 came with a pick holder for a key ring. I take it with me everywhere with a pick in it and I play finger style, lol

Yes, most of the time. I'm near worthless on guitar without a plectrum.

Great minds think alike, Chris! And, to be safe, I always have a couple in my car, too. I am SO ready for an encounter!

When I was about 12 was walking the railroad tracks with some buddies, when trains came by we'd put coins on the tracks to squish them.
I put a nickel and a couple of pennies on the tracks, train squished the pennies into blobs but the nickel must have slid half way off, was squished into the near perfect shape of a pick with half of it still intact.
Didn't pick up a guitar until a couple years later, and didn't think of my nickle pick until a couple years after that ,,, Then I randomly ran across it and thought, why not give it a try. [This is electric by the way] I loved it, the feeling of metal on metal is like nothing else. Not sure what happened to the lucky squished pic, but to this very day I use plain nickels or pennies playing my electric ,,, And have formed many pics out of various coins with a grinder and buffer.

But don't like the feel of metal with acoustic, but in a pinch a penny will do.

I have one of the leather key fob pouches too, given to me by a shop I bought a guitar in.

Any idea why that Taylor model costs about four or five times any other? Did it come preloaded with 14K gold picks?
