Thanks Dennis! I strongly doubt it will be ready in time, but if by some remote chance I have it before the Artisan Guitar Show, it may very well accompany me on the trip...

Do you have the binding taped off or do you scrape it afterwards?

Per Dale Fairbanks: "I both tape and scrape. If you only tape, you'll get some hairy edges and that'll look bad. If you only scrape, you're likely to get the classic Gibson binding ledge in the finish. That's not a good look either."
