I echo everyone's statements about the quality and sound of Marc's guitars. I've owned a Concert Standard since 2003 and it had its first truss rod adjustment this year. The guitar is amazing and sounds wonderful. Have three Beneteau guitars now!

Man I'd love to take this off your hands if I had the dough. My Model M is so rewarding to play even when the strings are dead. Amazing clarity from a light touch to a hard strum. Can't say enough good things about Marc's guitars

That's quite similar to the military way dating. Only difference is notating all 4 digits of the year.

And yes Beneteau crafts fine guitars.

Brian________________________________________

From Marc Beneteau:

My serial # system, which I have been using since the late 1970's is simply the day, month and year that I stamp the block. This is not strictly accurate because I have normally built 5 or even 6 guitars at a time. Because of this I stamp them to read one day apart. If I'm doing this at the end of the month some can spill over into the next month.

Soooooooooo…..140203 means the 14th day of February, 2003. I like this system because it dates the guitar accurately and the numbers never repeat themselves. Perfec!

Would also entertain trades for photography gear. Canon lenses or FF bodies, maybe a mirrorless Sony. Thanks!
