I just purchased a 2001 BMW 330i with 147,000 miles on it. $4,000 cash at a Ford dealer. But I have a trusted mechanic with a low labor rate.

The car is in amazing shape. And there are so many sources for OEM E46 parts, including how to videos on YouTube. My sons and I plan on doing whatever we can ourselves when something goes wrong.

Cool car for them to use and a great way to learn how to handle a wrench.
