Default NFL Week 8

NFL's Week 8. I was a little surprised to see a game on so early this morning but it's Detroit and Atlanta from London UK.

I can't believe that Peyton Manning is still averaging 3 TDs a game. Just amazing what he's doing. His numbers with the Broncos are better than the Colts.

Who you watching today?

I watched the Denver/San Diego game on Thursday evening and as my Broncos won, although I'd like to watch some football today, I have chores to do outside, so I'm happy I won't be missing the team I wanted to see. Can't even watch the late game this evening because I'll be attending a Fleetwood Mac concert.

Watching the Lions struggle against the Falcons right now. Lions must have gotten some bad fish and chips last night.

I'll flip between the Bears-Patriots and the Seahawks-Panthers, and of course, watch the Packers decimate Saints this evening.

Looking forward to the Patriots hitting the field today against the Bears. I still remember the 1986 season and 46-10.

What an amazing finish to the Lions - Falcons game. When is a penalty a good thing for a team? When you miss the game winning field goal with 0 time left on the clock and you get a chance to kick again ... and make it.

Matt Prater kicked a 48-yard field goal DET 22 - ATL 21

Pay back for the hold on Tate with that 2 point try! Finally Detroit gets a break...6 and 2!

Congrats on the win, JPD. I thought Detroit was too conservative on the last couple of plays and thought they'd lose it on that first kick. Atlanta was ahead 21-0 at the half ... ouch!

Thx Dru........Lions are still searching for their identity(there's a bunch of issues in that locker room) but today a spark may have been ignited! Thanks to the line judge for giving the Lions the "payback" call!

That was pretty insane......as a lifelong MI resident (although Denver fan) it seems in the past the Lions have always found a way to lose it right at the end - recently they have reversed it.

Probably won a lot of British fans today

Pats. Wow. So much for ole man Brady being washed up. 3 touchdowns in 57 seconds. I wonder what the record is? Most points ever given up by the Bears in the first half.

Man Peyton rocked last week. That guy rocks! I don't know how he does it at his age. Awesome.

I'm watching that game. Brady has 5 TDs and we're only in the 3rd quarter. Patriots have been rolling the past few games. Gronkowski is playing a great game too ... out for dehydration though.
