Yeah, the Bears officially suck.

I knew that.

The Saints are playing tough tonight. Patriots and Steelers both score 51 points. Big Ben tosses 6 TDs, 522 yds, and does it dressed in a bumble bee suit!

I can't wait for that game. Brady-Manning is always the highlight of the season.

Big Ben set an NFL record - only QB ever to throw 500 yards in a game twice. He's also one of 4 or 5 QBs ever to win 100 of his first 150 games - last night was his 100th victory. That includes Brady, P Manning, Bradshaw ... and I think someone else who is eluding me at the moment.

It has been years since I've seen the refs officially change the momentum of a game.

Denver punted on 3 of 4 1st half possessions, and fumbled in their own territory with three minutes to go in the half, with the score tied. Replay clearly showed the ball leaving the runner's hands before he hit the ground. The entire viewing public saw this, as did the announcers and their ex-ref commenter.

Chargers get the ball with amazing field position, and milk the clock to go into halftime up anywhere from 3-7 points....except that the ref in New York OVERRULES the play call on the field, in clear violation of NFL rules. They then throw in two non-penalties to keep the Broncos' scoring drive alive.

The Chargers were missing 12 starters due to injury, and were pulling ahead of the Broncos. Eking out a lead when you're undermanned and on the road requires a little extra momentum, a little extra emotional juice. When the refs so blatantly hand the momentum to the other team, well, that sort of stinks.

Actually Manning didn't make that list. The four QB's are Bradshaw, Montana, Brady and Rothlisberger.

Thanks for the correction. You are correct - it's Montana and not Manning. Big Ben is in fine company.

How about the Cowboys losing last night? DeMarco Murray extended his NFL record with his 8th consecutive 100 yard rushing game to start out a season.
