Default temporary fret markers for a vintage guitar

i recently introduced myself as a new member over in the "play" forum; i'm a newish player (about a year) and i play both a new Taylor acoustic and a vintage (64) Jaguar.

my previous electric was a 73 Strat that had side markers at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th frets, as does my acoustic. the Jaguar i recently acquired has extremely small side markers, which are functionally invisible, and as a beginner, i miss them. i am still in the process of learning scales, and i use the markers a lot for that, as well as playing generally.

i'm thinking of purchasing temporary stickers to mark the frets. my teacher remarked "you won't need those dots eventually," to which i responded, "true, but i do now. " my concern is mostly about preserving the value of the guitar.

has anyone done this, and if so, do you have a recommendation for a brand of stickers that won't mar the guitar?

Almost anything off of ebay or Reverb will be fine. The majority are static cling so they won't affect nitro finishes.

White out (Liquid Paper). The great classical guitarist Sharon Isbn uses it and so do I. Just flakes off with your thumb nail when you want it gone. Never had a finish problem in years of use.

https://www.inlaystickers.com

I have used and removed their stickers. Doesn't leave a residue. Lots of choices.

I'm a long standing player and fret markers still help me out to this day.
