new amp
just bought a Boss Katana -5-50-100watt. havn't had an electric guitar amp in years ;so i took the plunge when i saw it. seems like a good amp ;solid state,no tubes though. ihave some gigs with our old band and i'm gonna play my tele thru it.anybody have one yet ,or heard anything negitive?

I recently bought a Katana 50 watt amp...I love mine. It sounds great, the software is easy to use. It records thru the USB port well. Lot's of effects, what's not to like ??
I also play a Telecaster and a Gretsch thru mine. Both sound very good.

They seem to get very favourable reviews and to my ears the Youtube demos sound great. I'm tempted but I never really bonded with my Fender Mustang I amp so I'm still thinking this one over.

Eyesore - Congrats on the amp! I've read some great things about it here recently on the AGF but I've never tried one. It's on my try list next time I visit the guitar store. Enjoy.
