I had the Emerald X-30 for a week some time back - goodness I just checked it was 6 years ago - I enjoyed it very much, was a fun experience, but a baritone guitar of any sort isn't on my gas list. They make an X20 baritone now which I suspect is a better guitar, going by the regular X20 (which I have also played) but I haven't tried the X20 baritone. I'd like to!

I own an X20 Baritone. Fantastic guitar! I had then make the nut to just accept Med. to Med. Heavy strings as I just tune this down a step to D. Of course you can do this with a regular scale length guitar and it's good but the extra scale length really brings out the low end sounds much better. Plays like a dream.

I highly recommend the X20 Baritone. I'm sure with the proper strings tuned to B it would rattle the walls!

I owned a Composite Acoustics Baritone quite a few years back. I liked it a lot and I regret selling it. They are pretty hard to find. It had a very rich and loud sound and it had crazy long sustain!!!

Leviora guitars is building a baritone model that is (if I understand correctly) a modified saddle and bridge to swap out that allows for the heavier strings. Don Alder is playing one.
