Default Songwriter’s Festivals

While on a ski trip in Red River NM, we discovered there was a three day Songwriters Festival going on. Unfortunately all tickets were sold out... we did get to hear a few at one of the local restaurants.... pretty cool!

Might take the time to visit this one in September. Bit of a hike from Orlando but doable. Looks like fun.

I tried to keyword a list for national songwriting festivals but it doesn't appear it exists.

One of the biggest is Tin Pan South in Nashville in April.
A week of of multiple small venues with multiple performers (usually 4 to 7) two shows a night, with Nashville's best songwriters performing their own songs, including bit hits that have been cut by the Stars and songs that are great but will never get cut because they do not fit the Nashville Demographic Formula , but are often better music.

The Sisters Folk Festival in Bend Oregon draws a good crowd of songwriters each year. They have a songwriting camp as part of the activities. I have it on my bucket list.

Would love to check out the one in Nashville.

Best,
Jayne

The 30A Songwriters Festival in the Florida Panhandle seems to be getting bigger every year.
