I'm curious though - what is the appeal of a nylon string parlor vs. a nice classical guitar? (Maybe if were to play this guitar I would understand.)
i would guess that the parlour shape would give a more balanced sound, with less bass and lower mids. this would be especially helpful for any nailless nylon players.

i like this panormo 'copy'. the frets are fossilized ivory.

Interesting. I have always seen good classical guitars as being very balanced (but then, I play with nails, so maybe I'd understand more if I did not).

Still, I can see where a good nylon string parlor might be very nice.

I have a 1960's Martin nylon that is lightweight and therefore delivers that "Flamenco" fast response (less drone) than my full size classical. Nice to play for Spanish style compositions as opposed to say, Arabic drone. Here's a link to hear what they sound like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZDHC6_j7DE

Reviving this thread. I’d love a high quality nylon string parlor for recording and performing.

I have a Cordoba Cadete that I like a lot. It's 3/4 scale with a 1-7/8" nut width. It is surprisingly resonant with fairly deep bass response that I found a bit surprising, considering its size.

Details and demo video HERE in my NNGD topic post.
