Does anyone know anything about about this guitar…how old it might be? Where it is from? What it might be worth…?

Oops just realized I can’t post a pic. It says Mountain serial 9000047 and model m-118 Music imports limited San Diego, CO on the interior label. Does that help at all? Thank you!

Your description sounds like it's a student model, import, of some kind, worth $100 max, maybe? The age of the guitar really doesn't matter...
