Default Looper recommendations

Hello Fellows,
I'm thinking about getting a looper, yet i'm not sure which one to choose. Some folks advised me to use an iPad/computer instead.
I want to get the most simple one, yet I want it to have both guitar stereo and XLR mic inputs.
Any help would be well appreciated, since I really don't know much about it.
Thanks!

The Play Acoustic pedal has a looper function and you can add an auxiliary foot pedal to it to make it useful. It has the inputs that you want. For me the looper time is too short though, for others it's just fine. It depends on what other features you want from a looper and what you want to use it for.

I use the basic Ditto pedal (see link below) and really like the simplicity. It's fun, easy to get up to speed with and sounds good. I've thus far only used it for practice or to work out guitar parts and haven't used it live yet.

DO you want mic/XLR input for looping vocals or guitar? There are loopers designed for just vocals that provide better results for that purpose. Most guitar loopers do not have a mic preamp.

I've found the Ditto X2 unreliable for live use. The switch will work about 19 out of twenty times then fail play the loop once. It only takes once to kill the buzz when in front of a significant audience. I've heard that adding a high-quality external pedal can cure the problem but haven't tried it myself.

I use t
He TC Helicon playacoustic looper combined with the aux switch 3 pedal, I find the 1 minute loop time to be more than enough for what I need.
