Some new tops from the Dolomites
Hi Guys,
Here's some pics of a few tops out of a new batch of Austrian and Italian spruce that recently came in! First, from the south Tirol in the Dolomites: |

Good looking tops! It's so much fun getting packages from the alps, isn't it?

I enjoyed that, than you. Actually I do have a board like that from HD, grain tighter yet and I have yet to capture the shimmer of the top. With my luck it will have major runout. I have it put safely away till I can do it justice. Nice looking wood you have there, hope my jest didn't bother anyone.

Rudolf Fuchs—he is a great supplier. There’s a wait list for his master grade tops but his AAA are excellent and affordable.

I can highly recommend his wood, and his business, very friendly, reliable, good service and you get many data about the wood you buy. (sorry for my bad english, i´m from germany) |

My valued supplier in recent years is Rudolf Bachmann in South Tirol. In my beginnings 30 years ago it was Theodor Nagel in Hamburg. Thanks for the info. |

My wife and I go to the Dolomites every summer, about a 2 hour drive from Tirol. That is some gorgeous spruce! Looking forward to the finished product pictures.
