Default Fender Mustang GT40 - discount?

I'm thinking of getting a modeling amp for home use. Seems like the Mustang GT40 is just the ticket.

I hate paying retail. How can I get this for less than $250?

Are there president's day sales at Sweetwater, musicians friend, etc that might work for this amp?

Since the GT series is the newer generation of the mustang line, don’t expect much discounts on it. If you want a better value, there’s always the older mustang 1 to 3 which are also great modeling amps.

At least with Musician's Friend, you can likely get any of their common xx% off discounts if you call and ask for the discount rather than using the online order shopping cart on the web site.
