Default It’s still so nice to hear those three little words ...

“Out for delivery.”

Yup...me too. I quit waiting for trucks years ago.

So do you have one coming in today, Agent?

But those are six little words — too much of a mouthful!

Another three words I like to hear after a gig: "Coulda been worse"

Or "we survived it". These were actual words spoken to me by Tony Zuzulo, erstwhile drummer with Gandalf Murphy & the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, aka The Grand Slambovians. This followed a gig in the Pig's Nose Inn in Kingsbridge, Devon aka 'The Prancing Pony' (Tolkien fans who've visited said hostelry will understand!).

The most common three words you will hear when I am buying a guitar is "You're Killing Me" coming from either me or the seller. As a close friend who owns a music shop keeps telling me, you know you have a deal when neither party is overjoyed with it.

Please do tell more! I'm a huge Tolkien fan, but have not made it over the pond yet...

Not to hijack the thread, I found a shot of the inside of the place on tripadvisor:

It's in the back of beyond and was much darker at night when Joziah and Co played. This is roughly taken from the house left edge of the stage looking into the alcove where that window is. House jukebox and it's 15" high speakers were the PA and foldback for the keyboards was the sound bouncing off the wall of said alcove behind where the guy in the red coat is standing. It was so small and crowded, a woman dancing at the front knocked the mic stand so Joziah took a mic in the mouth.

There is always “New Guitar Day”. This usually follows “ Out For Delivery”
