Default Jigsaw Puzzles

I'm retired and have found that doing these jigsaw puzzles is a great pastime.

Well thanks very much for that - I don't have any spare time and now you've got me into these.

I don't like jigsaws but these are quite addictive

I think you will really enjoy these puzzles once you do a few of them. They are addictive and a great way to pass the time. Start with 20 pieces or 50 pieces if you think you don't like jigsaw puzzles.

You are missing out if you don't give them a try.

I was in a K-Mart once and looking at jigsaw puzzles, and one of them was of our family house in Vermont! I couldn't believe it. I bought up all the ones they had and gave them out at Christmas.

These were great fun and so much neater than taking up a whole table. Thanks.

I may have retired, but I’m not ready to start doing jigsaws yet.

I've never understood the appeal of jigsaw puzzles? They seem like just a "tweedle work" project, trying to entertain semi-invalids suffering from total boredom, due to old age & infirmity? (I realize this may be simply a personal misconception of my own POV...)

Perhaps I'll feel differently about them, when I've taken up the rocking chair, and they are my only form of amusement? 8>)

To all you guys and gals who say you don't like jigsaw puzzles, I challenge you to at least try this one. What else is there to do in retirement?

There now wasn't that fun!

One of my friends likes to flip all the pieces face down and put it together on a glass top table. Don't ask me why...

...great website!!!...thanks for the heads up...my wife and i do jigsaw puzzles in the winter months...(in the summer we garden)....its a really great way to let your cares slip away as it demands total concentration...it teaches us patience...and it gives us a break from the never ending media blitz and sensory overload of television and pop culture.....i believe the world would be a better place if more people did jigsaw puzzles...
