Default Guild A-150 Savoy

Anyone played one of these?

Yes I play one. Sorry I missed your post.

I use it more as an amplified parlor guitar than a jazz box. With lighter gauge strings (Martin m1400 silk & steel) and the house PA it sounds fine. I don't play professionally but I like to play the local open mics. I play my own songs, blues standards, and some "tin pan alley" arrangements.

The guitar sold me because of smaller scale, appearance, and comfort to play. Since I'm not performing in any acoustically sound music theaters, sound quality was not top priority.

You might find a more suitable jazz guitar for the price. I searched the used market before purchasing the Guild. None of the guitars that I found seemed like they would work for my purpose.
