**SOLD** - 2009 Santa Cruz 00 1929 All Mahogany Sunburst
**SOLD**
Heres a stock SCGC 00 1929 all mahogany guitar with one custom option - a full body sunburst (including the back of the neck). Im selling this guitar because I have two SCGC all mahogany guitars and only want one. Condition: I bought this guitar last year from the original owner. Although it is a 2009 model, it was basically unplayed, e.g., no measurable fretwear. Ive played it in regular rotation with my other nine guitars. It has less than 100 hours of playing time. Condition is excellent all the way around. The case is in near mint shape. I had a fully compensated bone saddle made and installed. Intonation is as good as I can get it. The original wood endpin is not inserted in the guitar and is in the case. It can easily be reinstalled with a dab of appropriate glue. No neck strap pin has been added to the neck. Specifications: The specs and measurements are as follows: Back and sides: Mahogany Top: Mahogany Neck: One piece mahogany (no scarfs, ears or heel laminate joint) Fingerboard and Bridge: Ebony Width at lower bout: 14 3/8 Width at upper bout: 10 Width at waist: 8 3/4 Depth at tail: 4 Depth at upper bout: 3 1/4 Fingerboard width at nut: 1 3/4 String width at nut: 1 1/2 Fingerboard width at 12th fret: 2 1/4 String width at saddle: 2 3/16 Bass side action at 12th fret: 5/64 Treble side action at 12th fret: 4/64 Relief at 7th fret: .008 Saddle height bass side: 3/16 Saddle height treble side: 3/16 Neck shape: V Scale length: 24.75 (628.6 mm) Pickguard: Faux tortoise teardrop Pickup: None Case: Original SCGC arched hardshell According to Richard Hoover, the mahogany used in this guitar (as well as other 1929 models) is Honduran mahogany sourced from a family in Peru that SCGC has done business with for decades and is reclaimed from decades old downed trees. Visit the SCGC website for further information about this guitar (http://www.santacruzguitar.com/instruments/1929-oo/). Ergonomics, Sonics and Behavior: For many, the 00 body shape, coupled with a short scale and 12-fret neck is a great pleasure to hold and play. This one is no exception. Much has been written about this model, as well as the other SCGC 1929 all mahogany models. Its warm, responsive and authoritative. In my experience, this guitar (as well as the other SCGC 1929 all mahogany models) are capable of many different musical styles and genres. Price and Terms: Street price for a new SCGC 00 1929 with full body sunburst is $5,220 (after 10% discount). The price for this instrument is $x,xxx and that price includes insured shipping (lower 48 only) and the Paypal fee. No trades, please. Pictures: Last edited by sdelsolray; 01-27-2018 at 08:13 PM. Quick question about the neck shape. The standard SCGC 00 1929 comes with a V shape neck. Yet your specs list a "Modified V" shape. Is this a custom neck shape?

It's the standard Santa Cruz V neck for this model. I changed the spec above.
