Default AGF Showcase of Talent: October 2014

October is almost here! For this month we will focus on songs that are about, or remind you of, FALL (autumn) and the many fun things associated with fall. Festivals, harvest, Halloween, Thanksgiving, football, etc. are all fair game. Or, maybe there is a particular song that is special to you due to its association (in your mind) with fall.

As always, this is not a competition. However, there will be a drawing from among all entrants at the end of the month. All you have to do is post a recording or video of you playing the song and it must include acoustic guitar. You can have accompaniment too.

I will post a link at the beginning of the month.

Todd

Yeah, I'm trying to get my submission uploaded but Soundcloud is taking forever tonight. Been sitting at 7% processed for a while now.

I thin I finally got it uploaded and linked. Can someone check and see if it works for you? It sometimes works for me and sometimes not.

I'd like to see someone do an acoustic rendition of the theme to the Halloween movie

Lack of skills/tallent hasnt stopped me from getting involved.

No idea what I'll do for this month. I live in the southern hemisphere so we are just coming into spring. In fact it's too hot and dry to call it spring. Oct here is called suicide month sometimes. Temperatures will hit 40 celcius before the summer rains start. It gets HOT.

Perhaps horse with no name?

Thanks again Todd for organising this fun thread each month.

Mr Beaumont that was a some really good playing, and very appropriate to the topic, probably more so than this recording that I actually made a few weeks ago. I do consider Lionel Richie's Easy a summer song and as October is the start of our summer there is a connection.
