Default Yamaha NTX1200

Does anyone here have experience with the Yamaha NTX1200?

If so, thank you for sharing your experience and opinion.

I can't really comment on the NTX 1200, but I briefly played one a few hours ago, and I chose to buy the NCX 900R instead. Playability of the NCX 900R is superb. I've yet to take it out of it's case, since I just got home a few minutes ago, but I'll give it a good workout tonight or tomorrow. My first impression though, is very positive.

I instantly took a liking to this guitar. (I wasn't even shopping for a guitar today,,,, I went to look at keyboards actually,,,, but once I had this thing in my hands, I wasn't about to procrastinate and "wait". I've missed too many great guitars because of that.

Here's a link, and you'll find a brief review there as well;

Well,,,,What a difference a day makes. I'm probably taking the guitar back.

After noodling around a bit last night, the built-in tuner started "disappearing" (no display), and frankly, the tuner was not accurate to begin with. That alone however, wasn't the deciding factor; I found the guitar lacked tone when brought up to standard pitch. The bottom-end sounded especially "thin" when played acoustically. I've yet to plug it in and try the pick-up, but I'll give that a whirl this afternoon.
