Don't have one on it as of yet. I was hoping to get some ideas from you guys.
Then again, it hasn't left the house yet and lives in it's case. I suppose I'll wait for that new guitar smell to fade before I even think about it |

I use a thick but supple no-frills vegetable oil tanned strip of leather.

This Sully's Vintage is my favorite.
This is what I use on my D-18DC. Kind of a throw back. I like the colors. .....Mike Last edited by 00-28; 09-26-2013 at 06:59 PM. |

I don't a pic handy but.....
I've had lots of straps. The one I absolutely love was Christmas present from my brother-in-law who was one of my early teachers. Its a very very plain, single ply super wide 4" leather strap. Super wide and thin its completly supple and cant even feel that its on. Its amazing and Ive never found another like it. it looks like nothing but it feels like everything perfect about a strap. I forgot to mention....its 30 years old and soft and crisp looking as new

Each of my instruments, whether guitars, mandolins, banjos or mountain dulcimers has its own strap (yes, I play mountain dulcimer standing up.)
As you might expect, I've got a number of different straps from a number of different vendors. But my favorites are the padded garment leather straps from Levy's Leathers that I first discovered during a visit to a Vancouver, British Columbia music store in 1998. Levy's Leathers straps have since become widely available in the United States, but they were new to me then. Anyway, I've got six or eight of these straps, at least. They're incredibly comfortable, and extremely well-made Levy's Leathers also makes some fancier versions of this padded strap, at an additional cost (naturally.) But the simpler one and two color versions of the basic padded strap are sufficient for my use, and less visually distracting, as well. I don't need a strap with fancy leather tooling and my name in rhinestones spelling out "W A D E B O Y" - just plain leather works fine for me. Wade Hampton Miller |

I have a cream coloured 3" Franklin strap on my Yamaha A3R.
Pix on website. Thinking about some strap locks. Not much of a commitment to try the Dunlop Ergoloks. |

2 1/2" Levy's sun strap with suede backing, and Loxx strap locks (the bottom bout pins are the Loxx screws with the extra ring that also lets you use a regular strap).
