What are your technique aspirations?

I don't know if it is a 'technique' per se...

... but my aspiration is to be able to walk into any group and lay down lead work for a song in any given key and mode with limited to no rehearsal time. This would all be in the 'praise music' realm, so that limits genre to mostly rock with a smattering of things like country.

A parallel desire is to learn to stand on my own (solo) with good fingerstyle/vocal development.
