2016 Collings 0002H German Indian 12 Fret Slotted
  Howdy Folks, up for grabs is my 2016 Collings 0002H G... G stands for German, H is herringbone trims, and 2 styling has diamond fingerboard markers, binding on the body and zipper back strip... 12 fret with slotted headstock, custom attractive Brazilian overlay, 1 13/16 and 2 5/16 string spacing, full scale, Adirondack bracing, pyramid bridge, Indian Rosewood back and sides... near new condition, nothing worth mentioning... The wider nut and saddle feels great, and with Collings neck carve, it all blends in and feels just right... The playability is as good as it gets, feels like a short scale, very easy on the fingers and not stiff... The German spruce top I feel plays a strong role is this instruments tone, there is a warm, creamy, rich blooming tone that stands out instantly upon first strum... I've played many Collings that felt a bit more stiff than this one, and a bit more small box punchy rag/blues tone.... this one has a wide open rich tone, more classical and warm finger style vs punchy ragtime... It still has the Collings guts of course, but a bit more versatile than many I've played and or owned... Any Collings lover would really appreciate this one, I've owned many over the years and this is a really exciting guitar... its new owner will be thrilled. $OLD

The Eagle has landed...
The Collings arrived today and it is everything that Dave said it was... and more. Lovely sound and setup. Looks like a new guitar.
