Default Syncopated Latin Flavored open D...

.....with Brazilian percussion, and my wife, Marcela, basically asking how is it that I can play with such rhythm, but I can't dance? It's a mystery to me, too.

Enjoy!

That's awesome, Howard!

You know, I can't dance worth beans, either.

Man, what a great groove.
I really enjoyed that.
You've got a great timing.

Enjoyed the spoken intro and the outro too, I laughed out loud, even if I don't understand a word of it...

Listening to this song, I can't stop moving my body. Very cool, indeed.

My wife, Marcela, is basically saying "How can you play with such rhythm, but you can't dance? I want to dance!"

It's a mystery to me as well, but I'm glad it gets your motor running!

I did the guitar track with no click, mostly because my engineer and percussionist told me what great time I have.

Never again. Always play to a click IF there's a chance you want to overdub anything!!

I have a great sense of time & rhythm until a guy like Mauro Refosco comes to overdub percussion, and then the issues rear their ugly heads!

We worked it out, but it's bass ackwards.

Note to self: Use a click!

Great stuff Howard. I can't dance either, but I can tap a mean foot.

Yeah, it can be a real pain to play without a metronome when there's a lot of overdubbing, but I often find that stuff I play without a click have a bit more "swing" in it, as long as I don't stray too far..
It's a delicate balance.

I really enjoyed your song - it's the perfect tune to do the dishes to, I found..
Good song title : Dancing with Dishes..
