Default Great vocal mic for very little money....

I love Blue mics, and this is a super hot deal......yes, it requires phantom, so that may take some of you out of the game, but I can tell you this outperforms a lot of stuff out there at several times the money....

I concur. This used to be my go to vocal mic and I often regret letting it go.

Not familiar with dynamic mics anymore. Are they typically priced higher?

This is an "active dynamic" that requires phantom power - the were selling at 149 for a couple of years. GREAT mic - promise. Only reason I went back to the Encore 100 for vocals was that I sit when I play/perform these days, and having condensers on the guitar and vocals (and the mics being so close together) would present problems.

This 200 is a double-steal at this price. Might buy one just to have it for recording.

I own a 200 and it's great. If it weren't for feedback issues on loud stages I'd get another one at that price. I have two 100s as well and love them. That is a terrific price.

Picked one up on the strength of your recommendation. After all, the 812c worked out pretty well.

Sounds great and the price was right.

Hope all is well with you and your folks.

You bet! It's about 8 ft from me as I write this. Play it every day.
Wound up installing a b-band A2.2. Sounds great plugged in, unplugged or mic'd.
