Default NGD eastman ER3 El Rey

This could go under archtops... but what the heck, I'm playing it more like an electric (I'm not a jazz guy).

So far it sounds really great plugged in! Haven't played it through the tube amp yet, just the amps in Logic X... but I am really liking it!

Action is really good... LOVE the wider neck!

I want to put a bigsby on it maybe... thinking about it. I like my tremolos...

It will replace my Cort M800 which will be for sale in the near future.

Congrats!! Is it a semi-hollow body? I don't see any f-holes.

Thanks for the info. I only recently found out that Eastman had electrics (from this forum) and that there were no solid bodies.

How so you like it so far?

So far so good... Played it a few times and have really enjoyed it. I think it needs a setup, but no big deal. I haven't played it at stage volume which is always the true test. But it seems versatile, sounds good, love the resonant body, love the wide fretboard, like the looks. It is not heavy, definitely lighter than my gibson sonex or even my Casio MG510. Seems to be the same weight as my Cort m800 which will be going on the market soon.

Very nice. I always appreciate a maker who is prepared to make something a little out of th ordinary, rather than yet another clone of an established design.

Exactly!! Me too, I don't know why everything has to look like a carbon copy of a les paul/strat/whatever.
